God blesses the one who reads the words of this prophecy to the church, and he blesses all who listen to its message and obey what it says, for the time is near. Revelation 1:3
It seems that people go to one of two extremes when it comes to the topic of Bible prophecy.
One extreme is an obsession with it, where they eat, drink, and breathe Bible prophecy.
In their minds, everything they read and everything they hear is a fulfillment of prophecy.
Then there are those who completely ignore it, and in some cases, don't really want to know that much about it. But that is a big mistake.
There are benefits to studying Bible prophecy. If we really believe that Jesus Christ is coming back again soon, it will cause us to want to live godly lives.
In 1 John 3:2-3 we read, "Dear friends, we are already God's children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears.
But we do know that we will be like Him, for we will see Him as He really is.
And all who have this eager expectation will keep themselves pure, just as He is pure."
Believing in Christ's soon return has a spiritually purifying effect on our lives. Also, believing that Christ is coming back should motivate us to reach others with the message of the gospel.
We read in 2 Peter 3, "And so, dear friends, while you are waiting for these things to happen, make every effort to be found living peaceful lives that are pure and blameless in his sight.
And remember, the Lord's patience gives people time to be saved . . ." (2 Peter 3:14-15).
We want to be reaching as many as we can as we await Christ's return.
The Bible promises a special blessing to the person who studies, understands, and keeps the words of the prophecy of the Lord Jesus Christ. You don't want to miss any blessings that God has for you. Do you?
Prayer: Lord, give me understanding of the biblical prophecies.

Alcohol Free Strawberry Margarita Jello-mix
To make these jello-mix first take some strawberries and cut their top and bottom. Then scoop out the strawberries’ flesh creating small cups and arrange them in a tray. Mix strawberry jelly mix in hot water and add Alcohol Free Tequila for the sake of little chilren. Fill this mixture in the strawberry cups. Let the jelly set in fridge. Then mix some lime zest with sugar and apply it to the jello-mix . Garnish with a slice of lime and voila. It can be an amazing mini dessert for a part.

My Rock And My Redeemer
Key Reading: Psalms 19:14 “May the words of my
mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer.”
In Psalms 19:14, It is so easy to fall into a
habit of deceit. It is easy to say what people want to hear. We use half
truths, never saying what is really on our mind. It is easy to “promise” with
all sincerity and yet never take the steps necessary to follow-through. We
cover one missed deadline with another. We say, “Tomorrow” but tomorrow never
comes. I find this happens the most when I am trying to be a people pleaser and
the words coming out of my mouth don’t match the thoughts going on in my heart.
If we are going to be honest with others; if we are going to “do” what we say;
if we are going to stop covering one lie with another, then we are going to
have to change the way we think. We will have to ask God to take over our mind,
emotions and will. He will have to be the master of all we think and do.
The great news is we can start today. Today we
can come to God and start to meditate on what He wants us to do. We can bring
Him all our emotions and thoughts. We can be honest with Him and then let Him
be honest with us. As we do, He will begin to affect our behavior. Today ask
God to invade your mind and guide your meditation. Pray with David, “May the
words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, O LORD, my
rock and my redeemer.”
PRAYER:
Father, you know what goes on in my mind. You know my meditations, thoughts and
emotions. You know how far off base I can get. You know how I can become so
unspiritual in my thought life. Help me Lord! Correct my thinking. Help me Lord
to be the person you want on the inside. I pray today that the words of my
mouth and the meditation of my heart will be pleasing to you. AMEN.

THE DESERT TRAINING
Luke 1:80, "And the child
grew, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of his
shewing unto Israel."
John the Baptist had the most important job assignment ever given to any mortal in the history of the world. He was to prepare the way for the coming of the long awaited Messiah.
How did the Lord prepare John for such an important task? What university could teach him all he needed to know? Who offered a course in becoming the greatest prophet who ever lived? (Mt. 11:11) Of course, no one could prepare John for such an important position, so the Lord taught him personally. John was in the deserts until he was thirty years old. He was tutored directly by the Lord through the Holy Spirit.
The personal touch of the Lord became very obvious. Six months after John began his ministry, the whole nation of Israel was experiencing revival and anticipating the coming of the Christ. When Jesus came, the Jews wondered how he could know things he was never taught (Jn. 7:15).
This special knowledge which comes directly from the Lord through the Holy Spirit is now available to every believer.
It's a part of the new covenant (Heb. 8:11). The Holy Spirit has been sent to be our teacher, but we have to show up at class and expect to receive (Jn. 14:26). He'll even show us things to come (Jn. 16:13).

How to Make Whipped Cream from Scratch in 15 Minutes
Whipped cream makes a great treat for everything from ice cream to fruit, and if you stay away from the store bought variety, it actually is pretty healthy. Here is how to make it yourself in between five to ten minutes.
Ingredients
1 pint/2 cups/16
ounces of heavy whipping cream
4 tablespoons/1/4 cup of organic powdered sugar or cane sugar
4 tablespoons/1/4 cup of organic powdered sugar or cane sugar
Tools Needed
Large metal
mixing bowl, chilled
Wire whisk, chilled
Wire whisk, chilled
Directions
Chill your bowl
and whisk in the freezer for at least 20 minutes. Pour the cream into the cold
bowl and immediately start whipping it briskly with the whisk. Do this
continuously for several minutes. Once the cream has doubled in thickness, stop
and stir in the sugar. Whip it for another minute and taste. If it's not sweet
enough, add more sugar.
Keep whipping at
a fast pace, switching the whisk between hands so your arms don't get too tired
and until the cream has formed soft peaks and looks like whipped cream. To test
it, dip the whisk into the cream and hold it upside down over your bowl. If
it's firm and doesn't move, it's done. If not, keep whipping.
Be careful to
not overdue the whipping. If you whip too long, the cream will turn into
butter! Don't worry, it won't turn instantly into that butter stage, it takes a
few minutes.
The whole
process takes between 5 to 10 minutes depending on how quickly you can whip.

FENCER’S THEORY IN RELATIONSHIP
So many young ones have caused themselves heartbroken because they allow someone that has nothing to offer them in life to deceive them. They are involved in relationship that cannot be defined.
The word fencer is from the word fence. We use fence to encamp a building or to
keep something from openness. It is also used to hide or maintain secret.
Fencer means, a person that fences. When there is a deep closeness between two
opposite sex, there is tendency that they fence
themselves up from others to know the content of their relationship, people
around you will be guessing whether you are dating or courting.
Whenever there is a thought of doubt about your
relationship with an opposite sex in people’s mind, then, you are fencing
yourself up from others that have right mind of going into relationship with
you.
Some people call it close friendship, but every friendship must be defined. Never assume the status of your friendship with an opposite sex but be assured.
Some people call it close friendship, but every friendship must be defined. Never assume the status of your friendship with an opposite sex but be assured.
So many young ladies keep on fencing themselves with a
guy because of their self-worthlessness and lack of focus and that makes it
worse. Don’t put a yoke that you will not be able to remove on your neck. So
many girls have been seriously abused and impregnated in the name of close
friendship.
Some are engaged in oral sex and other sexual related acts. Who is deceiving who? Your future lies in the state of your mind. It is better you assure yourself whether you are in courtship or not, don’t risk sitting on the fence. Fencer theory is worth avoiding.
May the God of heaven show you the right path to follow.

Praying for yourself VERSUS Praying for others
My attention was brought to something, a lot of
people know the usefulness of this but shy away from it – Praying for yourself
versus praying for others.
When we are going through stuff in life, the only thing we think about sometimes is how happy and relieved we’ll be if only God answers our prayers. We are consumed by our own needs and pain and we yearn for a breakthrough. That, in itself, is not a bad thing, after all God promises to answer when we call. But how often do we pray for others?
I was sitting in church the other day and two people were talking about someone else and her many vices. One of them concluded by saying, “Let’s just be praying for her now”.
The other replied by saying “Pray? Have I finished praying for myself?”
Sounds familiar huh? Yeah I know. I have said it too many times at some point in my life. But what exactly does the scripture say about this. Let’s have a look:
James 5:16 - Confess your trespasses to one another, and PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.(NKJV)
We quote the latter part of this scripture a lot and forget the former. But actually the Bible talked about the effective fervent prayer in reference to praying for one another. In other words, when you say that heartfelt prayer for one another, it brings much power that is dynamic in its working. Do you see that? When I spend time praying for someone else, the prayers get answered, the person’s life gets changed and vice versa. This also means that a lot of the “problems” we face could be sorted not by our own prayers, but by the prayers of others.
Can you imagine that kind of life? Where you are so sure someone somewhere has got your back covered in prayers, just the way you are covering others? Life would be so much sweeter, as we would be more united. And unity fosters victory. You can be sure the devil would be "minced-meat" a lot faster! That is what I call true Christianity. Remembered Jesus prayed for peter.
I love this song by JUANITA BYNUM. It is titled “I need you” and best sums up this post. Listen, be blessed and honestly pray…..for others.
