A Best Selling Story (God has the original blueprint for your life)

God has the original blueprint for your life. The devil may make an attempt at re-writing your story by introducing loads of unpleasant circumstances.. He may try to distort things, but the good news is that God already published your book before you existed. Unknown to the devil, all his tactics have all been taken into account and sorted out in the book. Something is certain about you- you are definitely going to have a good landing. Before you existed and till eternity, your life is a successfully completed best selling story! ...selah

Who would have predicted that Hannah would have 6 children in all, after being sneered at for many years?
Who would have thought Joseph would occupy the most influential position in Egypt after going through so much in life?
Who would have imagined that Esther; a young maid would eventually occupy the position of the Queen?

In spite of some things we have seen and being through in life, who would have thought you and I would still be standing?

A Sure Word!

Recently, my sister shared with me, the story of how she and her sister-in-law went to one of Pastor Ashimolowo's program and right in the midst of prayer ministration, her sister-in-law was 'handpicked' out of the crowd by the man of God and a direct word that addressed her EXACT situation was delivered to her. My sister told me she always knew Pastor Matthew as a teacher of the word but that day, she saw another dimension of the ministry gift he operates. Surely, the recipient of the word knew for a certainty that her case was signed, sealed, and delivered, and as surely as the Lord lives, the word that came at that point in time found speedy expression for whom it was meant.

Some of us might have had this awesome experience and many have loved ones who have experienced such or we get to read about it all the time. It is not totally incorrect to assume that many of us who have heard of or seen such experience happening to others long for same. We might muse and say, "What could be better than having the solution to my challenge delivered to me on such platter of gold?" In fact, this rationale could very well be at the root of some individuals' run from pillar to post, seeking similar out-of-the-world experience.

It is absolutely good to wait on prophecy from the mouth of God's servants but do you know that there is a MORE SURE WORD OF PROPHECY? 2 Peter 1:19-21 (NKJV-emphasis mine) says,
19 And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts; 20 knowing this first, that no PROPHECY of SCRIPTURE is of any private interpretation, 21 for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

Hear, hear! What we have on the pages of the Bible are prophecies and Peter indicated that these prophecies are SURER because they were penned under the Holy Spirit's inspiration. Wow! Indeed, God can send a word of prophecy that addresses your need through a man of God and if He does, glory to God. However, if it doesn't happen that way, don't despair. You have the Bible and that simply means you have access to a more sure word of prophecy - what else should you be looking for? All you need do is delve and dig into the scriptures to find that particular prophecy that has been written concerning you, and run with it. The pages of the Bible are filled with God's promises to you. You need to find the one that addresses your situation and cling tightly to it. Catch a more sure word of prophecy from scriptures, receive it, believe it, and let the assurance settle deep within you that the solution you desire is signed, sealed, and delivered!

Shalom!

Try this Graham Crackers Biscut

Makes 48 crackers
Make today, enjoy immediately
1 1/2 cups (8 1/4 ounces) graham flour
3/4 cup (3 3/4 ounces) all-purpose flour
1/2 cup (3 1/2 ounces) sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
8 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into 1/2-inch pieces and chilled
5 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons molasses
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1. Adjust oven racks to upper-middle and lower-middle positions and heat oven to 375 degrees. Process graham flour, all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in food processor until combined, about 3 seconds. Add butter and process until mixture resembles coarse cornmeal, about 15 seconds. Add water, molasses, and vanilla and process until dough comes together, about 20 seconds.
2. Divide dough into quarters. Working with 1 piece of dough at a time (keep remaining pieces covered with plastic wrap), roll dough out between 2 pieces of parchment paper into 11 by 8-inch rectangle, 1/8 inch thick. Remove top piece of parchment and trim dough into tidy 10 by 7 1/2-inch rectangle with knife, and then score rectangle of dough into twelve 2 1/2-inch squares. Prick each square several times with fork.
3. Slide 2 pieces of rolled-out and scored dough, still on parchment, onto separate baking sheets. Bake crackers until golden brown and edges are firm, about 15 minutes, switching and rotating sheets halfway through baking. Slide baked crackers, still on parchment, onto wire rack and let cool completely. Repeat with remaining 2 pieces of rolled-out dough.
4. Transfer cooled crackers, still on parchment, to cutting board and carefully cut apart along scored lines. Graham crackers can be stored at room temperature in airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
To Make Cinnamon Graham Crackers: Increase amount of cinnamon in dough to 1/2 teaspoon. Toss 1/4 cup sugar with 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, then sprinkle mixture over scored crackers just before baking.

Prayer for new week and Happy new week

This is what the LORD saysHe who made a way through d sea,A path through the mighty waters,
Who drew out the chariots and horses,
the army and reinforcements together,
and they lay there, never to rise again, extinguished, snuffed out like a wick;
Forget the former things;
Do not dwell on the past.
See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the deserts and streams in the wasteland.

I declare this morning that whatever you have lost due to doubt or sins, God will restore them unto you, where others are rejected and dejected, you will be elevated to greater height and your destiny shall speak volumes of God's grace in Jesus name! You will no longer suffer for money, but money shall work for you in Jesus Name

Happy New Week from us ASB-World.

10 Comfort Foods that Won't Pack on the Pounds

For most people, low temperatures and winter weather means it's time to integrate a sixth food group into their diets: comfort foods. Bowls of belly-warming macaroni and cheese, creamy mashed potatoes, and piping-hot chicken pot pie help satisfy your body's instinctual drive to stay toasty and conserve energy for the winter ahead. Obviously, if you're not careful, these annual indulgences can quickly add pounds of extra insulation that are hard to remove come spring. Fortunately, fat and calories aren't prerequisites for a soothing, satisfying dish. Some smart ingredient swaps can transform hearty favorites into lighter, healthier fare that's still satisfying. These tips from Michelle Dudash, RD, Phoenix-based chef and recipe developer, and Elaine Magee, MPH, RD, author of Comfort Classics, will allow you to enjoy savory, cold-weather foods without adding inches to your waistline.
1: Macaroni and Cheese
Maybe the mother of all comfort foods, this creamy dish can pack close to 900 calories a serving when it's loaded with whole milk and five different cheeses. To shave calories and fat from the sauce, use low-fat milk, tub butter, reduced-fat Cheddar cheese, and Parmesan, which contains 2 g less fat and 3 g more protein than Cheddar per quarter-cup serving, says Dudash. You can also cut back on cheese by adding pureed cauliflower to the sauce. Punch up flavor with garlic powder and spices, recommends Dudash. Also, use whole wheat noodles to deliver twice as much fiber, which slows your body's absorption of sugar and keeps you feeling full.
2: Mashed Potatoes
Despite being chock-full of nutrients, potatoes get a bad rap. A medium-size potato serves up more than 25% of your recommended daily amount of vitamin C, about 18% of your daily potassium intake, as well as 2 g of fiber (if you leave on the skin). So why are mashed potatoes the enemy? Most are drowning in butter and whole milk. Keep your spuds lean by using low-fat milk, plain nonfat Greek yogurt, and chopped chives for flavor. If you can't imagine eating your taters without butter, Magee suggests placing a small pat of butter on top as a garnish. "I find it's comforting to have it melt on the mound of potatoes," she says.
3: Oven "Fried" Chicken
Frying any food is a surefire way to make it a nutritional no-no, and it's not the only way to give chicken a satisfying crunch. "You can crisp most food in the oven by adding an oil spray or a light brush of oil. You can't control how much oil meat absorbs when you deep fry, but when you bake it, you call the shots," she says. Mix sliced almonds and whole wheat bread crumbs in the food processor and use that as breading, says Dudash. If you can't eat nuts, try panko and ground Cheerios, she says. Add flavor with garlic powder, paprika, spices, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.

4: Meat Loaf
A loaf made with 70% lean beef can pack about 14 g of fat. To lighten it up, start with 95% lean ground beef. "It's still really lean and gives you a beefy taste," Dudash says. You can easily plump it up with more nutrients by adding oatmeal instead of bread crumbs and throwing in chopped mushrooms, beans, or other high-flavor vegetables and herbs. "Adding vegetables keeps the meat loaf moist and forms a wonderful au jus without making it greasy," Magee says.

5: Chili
When it's loaded with beans and vegetables, chili is one of the healthiest comfort foods out there. Top it with heaps of cheese, sour cream, and nacho chips and you're eating a bowl of deconstructed nachos. So lay off the fixings, and lighten up your recipe by replacing most of the meat with vegetables and additional beans, Dudash says. Ground turkey can also be a great substitute for beef, but be careful, warns Dudash. "Some ground turkey isn't any leaner than beef. It might be made with the skin, and it depends on whether it's white or dark meat." Check the label and opt for lean or extra-lean varieties of beef or turkey.

6: Pot Roast
This hearty Sunday dinner staple is surprisingly low in fat and calories. A chuck shoulder roast has fewer calories and less fat than chicken thighs, Dudash says. A 4-ounce piece packs 210 calories and 13 g of fat, and a chicken thigh clocks in around 220 calories and 16 g of fat. To achieve melt-in-your-mouth flavor, the cut needs to be simmered for several hours--the longer you cook it the more tender it will get, she says. Surround your roast with tons of vegetables, and you'll have a well-balanced and not terribly fattening meal.

7: Casserole
With layers of starch, meat, and creamy sauce, some casseroles contain over 400 calories a serving. A smarter bet is to load your dish with vegetables, whole grains, and lean meat. "Even if a recipe doesn't call for beans or vegetables, you can still add them," Magee says. Punch it up with a layer of zucchini, or double the amount of mushrooms the recipe calls for, or put in peas. Even better, include a serving of fish via canned tuna. "It's a convenient and budget savvy choice." It also delivers protein and omega-3 fatty acids with minimal calories. Just make sure you use a low-fat substitute for cream or butter to lighten the dish..

8:Minestrone
Soup can warm your body from the inside out without filling you up on calories. Choose a broth-based version, which tends to be lower in calories than a soup made with cream. Minestrone's an especially great choice because it's filled with beans and vegetables and has a tomato base, which keeps it light. If you opt for chicken noodle soup, add extra veggies, like frozen peas and carrots. Packed with protein and fiber, bean soups are another nutrient-rich selection. If you prefer a creamy soup, puree caramelized onions and use in place of cream. "They'll give you that buttery, creamy taste without all the fat" Dudash says. Other substitutes include nonfat creamer, pureed potatoes, or a little bit of nonfat yogurt.
9: Pot Pie
The buttery crust is how this recipe racks up calories and fat. Dudash recommends making your own using canola oil instead of butter and whole grain flour. If you're uncomfortable making crust from scratch, a whole wheat biscuit mix can form your crust. Lighten up the filling by using more root vegetables and less chicken than the recipe calls for--carrots, sweet potatoes, and parsnips, Dudash says. "Then for the chicken, use breasts instead of thighs, which will save you fat."
10: Spaghetti and Meatballs
This Italian classic packs on the pounds, partly because of the way we serve it--heaping platefuls of pasta topped with a couple of meatballs. The Olive Garden's spaghetti and meatball platter comes to 920 calories, for example. According to the USDA's recommendation, grains should make up only a quarter of each meal, so cut back on your pasta serving and supplement your plate with veggies. As for the meatballs, make yours using lean beef instead of sausage (just one Italian sausage link can pack nearly 20 g of fat) and replace bread crumbs with oatmeal to add fiber, save calories, and cut down on sodium (Italian bread crumbs have about 450 mg). Serve the juicy spheres over some whole wheat pasta and you'll double the fiber.

"I Know Who I Am" (Video)

Enjoy this beautiful song this morning by our sweet sister Sinach, See video and lyrics below. ENJOY !

We are a chosen generation
Called forth to show His excellence
All I require for life; God has given me
And I know who I am
[Repeat]

I know who God says I am; What He says I am
Where He says am at; I know who I am
[Repeat]

I’m working in power, I’m working miracles
I live a life of favor, Cause I know who I am
[Repeat]

[Repeat from Top]

Ohh oh oh, oh oh oh
I know who I am [Repeat]

I am holy, I am righteous oh…
I am so rich, I am beautiful

I’m working in power, I’m working miracles
I live a life of favor, Cause I know who I am
[Repeat]

Take a look at me, I’m a wonder
It doesn’t matter what you see now
Can you see His glory, ‘Cause I know who I am

Ohh oh oh, oh oh oh
I know who I am [Repeat]

Dancing Before the Lord Releases Power To You!

Most of us are familiar with the Indian war dances, which always occurred before they entered warfare with their enemies. Dancing and rejoicing before the Lord is also an effective weapon before we go to war against Satan (Ps. 149:1-9).

We have the scriptural example of this when Jehoshaphat sent the singers ahead of his army and ambushes against their enemies were established: "And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the Lord, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the Lord; for his mercy endureth for ever" (2 Chr. 20:21, KJV).

We learned the importance of rejoicing before the Lord with singing and dancing through attending a fellowship in Jerusalem. The Zion Fellowship is a unique fellowship that spends a lot of time in praising the Lord with the dance. Ruth Heflin, who heads this fellowship, has written a book called Glory in which she expresses the importance of the dance in spiritual warfare. She relates in her book Glory the following: "I believe that dancing brings an anointing for the nations. I never let a day go by without dancing. I have danced in the toilets of 707s, 747s and DC-10s. How do I do it? Straight up and down."
Ruth urges her readers not to let a day go by that they don't dance before the Lord. I am just now catching on to the power and anointing in rejoicing before the Lord in the dance. David made this discovery years ago when he wrote, "Let them praise His name in the dance; let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp" (v. 3).
If you have not tried rejoicing before the Lord in the dance, you can start today. Put on some praise music and dance before the Lord. The Lord loves to see you dance before Him, because after all, He rejoices over you with singing. David was a man after God's own heart because he often danced before the Lord with all of his heart. We are exhorted to praise the Lord with our whole being. Dancing is a good way to do this. Have a good day and a good dance.
Lord, I want to be free in my worship and praise to You. Help me to get rid of all self-consciousness and just have my eyes on You as I praise and worship You. Set my feet to dancing, Lord.
