You Can Try This Heavenly Chocolate Cherry Bombs

To make these cherry bombs first you need to make a chocolate sponge cake. Let the cake cool and then crumble it in a bowl. After that add frosting to it. Mixing it with the frosting will create a binding force in the mixture. Then coat the cherries with this cake and frosting mixture. Make a round ball around cherry and press it to firm the ball.

After you are done with coating all the cherries melt some cooking chocolate in a double boiler. Then dip each cake covered cherry in the melted chocolate. Chill it in refrigerator and chocolate cherry bombs are ready to be served.

Get Your Praise On!

Imagine someone with a snake bite or scorpion sting or some other poisonous substance in his system with no access to an antidote, what do you suppose will be the fate of such person? Well, except by divine intervention, certain death lurks around the corner for that person. An antidote, as we clearly know, neutralises the effect of the poison/venom/toxin that pollutes the body system and causes harm. Thank God for antidotes!

The world as we know it today is full of pollution. Mind you, I do not mean air, land, water, or noise pollution as studied by environmentalists - I mean spiritual pollution released from the pit of hell to endanger human souls. Since Satan is the prince of this world, and since his three-fold ministry is to 'Steal, Kill, and Destroy' (John 10:10a), he has unleashed his demonic minions to roam freely and do untold damage. He has poisoned the world with so much evil that permeates the nooks and crannies of the universe. He daily attempts (and succeeds many a-times) to steal/kill/destroy people's joy, health, sanctity, peace, promotion, success, salvation, progress, prosperity, and what-have-you by injecting his venom into their situations and circumstances.........but,

Thanks be to Jesus, there is an antidote! How so? Let's check the story of King Saul in 1Samuel 16:14-23 (HCSB):

14 Now the Spirit of the Lord had left Saul, and an evil spirit [sent] from the Lord began to torment him, 15 so Saul's servants said to him, "You see that an evil spirit from God is tormenting you. 16 Let our lord command your servants here in your presence to look for someone who knows how to play the lyre. Whenever the evil spirit from God [troubles] you, that person can play the lyre, and you will feel better." 17 Then Saul commanded his servants, "Find me someone who plays well and bring him to me." 18 One of the young men answered, "I have seen a son of Jesse of Bethlehem who knows how to play [the lyre]. He is also a valiant man, a warrior, eloquent, handsome, and the Lord is with him." 19 Then Saul dispatched messengers to Jesse and said, "Send me your son David, who is with the sheep." 20 So Jesse took a donkey loaded with bread, a skin of wine, and one young goat and sent them by his son David to Saul. 21 When David came to Saul and entered his service, Saul admired him greatly, and David became his armor-bearer. 22 Then Saul sent word to Jesse: "Let David remain in my service, for I am pleased with him." 23 Whenever the spirit from God [troubled] Saul, David would pick up his lyre and play, and Saul would then be relieved, feel better, and the evil spirit would leave him.

Saul's soul was poisoned with gloom and depression via the instrumentation of torment by the evil spirit and the only antidote to this poison was music that ascended to the throne of heaven (I'm sure David wasn't just playing some music, he was dedicated to praising God with music). Whenever David played, the evil spirit left, and Saul got better.

So what are you waiting for? Get your praise on! Praise is the surest antidote that neutralises that 'poisonous' situation and relieves your very soul. Why? God inhabits the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3). When you sing His praise, He comes to revel in it, and tell me, what impish evil spirit can stand around? Don't let the devil achieve his aim, don't let his poison take effect, meet it headlong and neutralise it with your praise rising up to the Father of all good and perfect gifts!

Shalom! By Ayotunde.

Italian Salsa Verde

Pantry staples like canned tuna, boxed pasta and bread can save dinnertime when the weather turns brisk and a dash to the store is simply not gonna happen.
But so can a great condiment. One we often forget about—since its Old World sibling tomato sauce steals the spotlight—is Italian salsa Verde.
This is one of those rare sauces that can be blended in two minutes using almost anything you have on hand—soft, fresh herbs, a bit of garlic, olive oil, capers and some sort of acid such as lemon juice (our fave) or white wine vinegar—plus anchovies or hot peppers, to taste.
Jam-packed with piquant, bright, incredibly satisfying flavors, here’s how to use it:
Dollop on baked salmon, chicken, steak or vegetables
Use it as a marinade for meat (as none other than Mario Batali does))
Slather it into any sort of sandwich (like chef Caroline Fidanza of Brooklyn’s Saltie does (recipe below!)
Best of all: it keeps in the fridge for several days or as long as several weeks, if stored in a tightly sealed jar and covered with a layer of oil, like pesto. Here’s one of our favorite salsa verde recipes:

Ingredients
2 cups mixed herbs: parsley, mint, dill, scallion, cilantro
1/4 cup capers
1 fresh red chile (optional), seeded andthinly sliced
2 large cloves garlic (optional), thinly sliced
3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1–2 lemons
Sea salt
Directions
In a bowl, toss the herbs with the capers, chile and garlic (if using), and olive oil. Add the juice of 1 lemon and a small pinch of sea salt. Taste. The flavor should be bright and lemony. Adjust as necessary with lemon and salt.

What your nails are saying about your health

Whether or not you’re into nail polish, paying attention to your nails is pretty important. Yes, we love a good ruby red lacquer that makes our hands look gorgeous, but once the polish comes off, your nails are always trying to tell you something. If your nails are constantly peeling, that can be an indicator of how you digest food. If you’re experiencing a lot of yellowing, it’s a possible sign of fungus. Regardless of what you’re doing with your nails, you need to start reading the signs they’re sending. Below, we’ve listed out what’s going on with your nails, and what exactly they’re trying to tell you.

Peeling: If your nails are peeling, it could mean that you’ve got a deficiency when it comes to mineral absorption. While this can be caused by something as minuscule as not chewing your food enough, it could also mean a low amount of acid in your stomach, which means that your food isn’t properly digested.

Dry Cuticles: This one may seem obvious, but dry cuticles means you’re lacking in the hydration department. Especially if you work in an office where you’re constantly washing your hands or you’re always washing dishes (and particularly in the winter), resolve to use cuticle oil at least once a day to keep your fingers in great shape. If you can’t use cuticle oil, massage hand cream into your cuticles while you’re applying it to your hands.

White Spots: While most people believe that white spots on nails are actually a sign of a calcium deficiency, they can actually be a small area of nail fungus or a tiny result of trauma to the nail like bumping or dinging your finger. If there is pain in your nail, seek medical attention to treat fungus. If there’s no pain and it’s likely the result of trauma, the white spot must simply grow out (which can take up to eight months).

Breaking: There are a few reasons why your nails could be breaking, and they range from harmless to significant. Your nails could be breaking because they’re exposed to water, soap or detergent for too long, or they could be breaking for more serious reasons, like endocrine disorders or malnutrition. The key to determining which is causing your nails to break is to take notice of whether your nail’s thickness, color, etc. have changed over time. If you notice a change in your nails and stop exposing them to water and detergent, yet the change persists, see your doctor.

Yellowing: Besides smoking, your fingers could be turning yellow due to a few reasons. First, it could be nail fungus, which can be taken care of with an anti-fungal medication from your doctor. If it’s not nail fungus, your nails could be turning yellow because you paint them too often and you neglect to use a base coat. As a rule of thumb, give your nails about three days with no polish every three weeks or so, and be sure to use a clear base coat to avoid polish staining your nail bed.

Dark Vertical Lines of Color: While dark marks underneath nails could be benign moles underneath your nail bed, single, new bands of color could also indicate melanoma. If you notice this, see your dermatologist immediately.

Hard as Rock: If your nails are hard as rock, strong and don’t break easily, it’s a good sign that you’re in good health. Keep up the good diet, exercise and nail care regimen!

Separating From the Bed: Nails separating from the bed can be due to injury or infection, a reaction to a drug, thyroid disease or psoriasis. Once there is space between the nail and the bed, infections can occur underneath the nail. Most times, nails will reattach themselves to the bed within a few months, but if you think you may have a more serious condition, seek your doctor’s guidance.

ONLY THE COUNSEL OF THE LORD SHALL STAND

Hi folkss, how's the day going? I was going through the book of Nehemiah this morning and came across the verse where Sanballat was mocking the Jews because they were building the wall, beloved he was seriously making jest of them. Look at what he said in Nehemiah 4 vs 2.what do these feeble Jews? Will they fortify themselves? Will they sacrifice? Will they make an end in a day? Will they revive the stones out of the heaps of the rubbish which are burned?
Friends Sanballat never believed they could complete the wall, see what he wrote in Verse 3 of that same chapter. (3)Even that which they build, if a fox go up, he shall even break down their stone wall. Hahahahahaha! Friends I laughed when I saw this, this is just illustrating what we are going through in our everyday life. We have a purpose and set out to achieve it, but along the line, we let the enemies distract us.

Friends Nehemiah set out to rebuild the wall, he took permission from the king to do this and set out, along the line he met many obstacles but was able to overcome them because he partnered with the Holy Spirit, or do u think he didn't hear those words spoken by Sanballat? My friends only those words were enough to discourage him if he wasn't connected to the source of life. Looking at it from the human eyes, such a feat seemed impossible but with God it was possible.

In our individual lives, we face Sanballat every day. Beloved Sanballat here means Enemies, they are those who are determined that u will not succeed in your endeavour and u know what, I have good news for you this morning, the good news is that no Sanballat has the power to stop you once you are connected to the source. Connecting to the source here means partnering wt the Holy Spirit. Beloved you will build your wall. Whatever anybody has said concerning u does not matter, because it is only the counsel of the lord that shall stand. As we start the New Year, I want to have this in mind isaiah7 vs 7: Thus said the Lord God, It shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass. I speak to your lives brethren that only the counsel of the lord over your life and family shall stand this year.

I leave you with these words in Eph 6:10-12 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the lord, and in the power of his might Put on the whole amour of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the Devil. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God. I want you to ponder on this few point I have raised here.2014 will be a year of manifestation of God promises for our lives in Jesus name. Pleas don't forget to tell somebody about Christ today, and as you do this, joy everlasting shall be yours in Jesus name. God bless us all.

Have a nice day ahead By Aderonke.

Drinking Urine Cures Many Ailments, Says Couple!

couple drinking their wee.
Any new relationship brings along the chance to learn something new with your partner, as Bex Long found out when she started dating John Dixon two years ago. Her new boyfriend had been a devotee of drinking his own urine for a number of years. Bex and John joined Holly Willoughby and Dermot O'Leary on theITV “This Morning” sofas to talk about their unusual habit. Dermot first of all introduced a short film of facts about our urine by saying, drum roll please… Run Wee Tee.

Agh!
1. Human urine is made of about 95% water.
2. The remaining 5% is made up of about 3,000 compounds.
3. We haven't always flushed away our wee - in the past it has been used to wash clothes, treat sores and even whiten teeth.
4. In the 1800s urine was used to make gunpowder.
5. Urine has even been used to charge a mobile phone. John told Dermot and Holly that he began drinking his own urine when he was just 17 years-old because he met someone else who drank their wee.

He had been a pretty wild youngster and was trying to live a more healthy lifestyle when he noticed a positive difference drinking his own wee made. Bex said she'd suffered from depression for ten years for which she took medication. When she discovered John's alternative 'health kick' she decided to give it a go and said that for the first few months it made her feel really happy and bouncy, until her body got used to it. Drinking her own urine meant she could come off her medication.

Bex and John were joined by Dr. Ranj who added that it's not advisable to come off any medication without talking to your doctor first, and that whilst drinking wee has been okay for Bex and John, it isn't a good idea to drink it when you are taking any kind of medication. You should see your doctor first. He added that of course wee is your body's way of getting rid of stuff it doesn't want.

Dermot asked of the wee was smelly, and Bex said it depended on what she ate - that if you had a healthy diet then no it didn't. She admitted to not liking the taste of her own urine. John was more blunt. "It smells and tastes like wee," he said, "and there's no getting around it." Curious Dermot asked if they drank it warm and fresh or if they chilled it first. Warm and fresh was the order of the day. Holly noted that Bex said it made her eyes brighter, her skin clearer, it gave her more energy, and it helped clear up cuts and burns quickly.

Dr Ranj said that urine therapy isn't new, but is not recommended by doctors.
