Happy Mother's Day, Every Mother in NORWAY :)

A baby asked God, "They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?"

"Your angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you."

The child further inquired, "But tell me, here in heaven I don't have to do anything but sing and smile to be happy."

God said, "Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you. And you will feel your angel's love and be very happy."

Again the child asked, "And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me if I don't know the language?"

God said, "Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak."

"And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?"

God said, "Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray."

"Who will protect me?"

God said, "Your angel will defend you even if it means risking it's life."

"But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore."

God said, "Your angel will always talk to you about Me and will teach you the way to come back to Me, even though I will always be next to you."

At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from Earth could be heard and the child hurriedly asked, "God, if I am to leave now, please tell me my angel's name."

"You will simply call her, 'Mom.'"

Happy Mother's Day to every Mothers in Norway cos today we celebrate the mother in Norway country, From Us Here ASB-W We Celebrate All Mothers.

Wenger fell on his backside while carrying suitcases through train station return from Liverpool match

The Arsenal boss did not look happy as he fell on his backside while carrying suitcases through train station.
Arsene Wenger suffered a double blow yesterday when he took a tumble after his team, Arsenal, were hammered 5-1 by Liverpool.
Manager Wenger was rushing through Liverpool Lime Street station with players to get the train back to London when he slipped and fell heavily on his backside.
The 64-year-old is pictured pulling along a suitcase as he enters the station, but once he is through the doors, he slips almost hitting his head on a pane of glass.
The Frenchman grimaced in pain and rubbed his behind as two British Transport Police officers helped him up.
A club spokesman said: “He’s fine.”  see pics below:

The Purpose of Miracles

One clear purpose of miracles was to authenticate the character of Jesus and his relationship with his heavenly Father. In this regard, miracles demonstrate the following: God is with Jesus (John 3:2); Jesus is from God (John 3:2; 9:342-33); God has sent Jesus (John 5:36); Jesus has authority on earth to forgive sins (Mark 2:10-11; Matt. 9:6-7; Luke 5:24-25); Jesus is approved by God (Acts 2:22); the Father is in Jesus and Jesus is in the Father (John 10:37-38; 14:11); in Jesus the kingdom of God has come (Matt. 12:28; Luke 11:20); and Jesus is the Messiah (Matt. 11:1-6; Luke 7:18-23) and the Son of God (Matt. 14:25-33).
Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the water. Matthew 14:28
There is something almost impudent in Peter's telling Christ to bid him come to him walking on water. We wonder that Peter dared do it. But after he had taken a few steps and realized what he was doing, Peter's weak faith caught up with him.

He began to doubt, and when that doubt took hold, he began to sink. We can understand how Peter felt, both the exaltation and the letdown. We, too, know what it means to falter in faith. But that should not keep us from striving to trust even more. Faith is demanding but only because its rewards are so great. It is the joyful living in an understanding of the Gospel's words" for with God nothing is impossible When the outlook is darkest, we need to exercise our faith. Christ is out there on the water calling, "Come." What a joy it will be for you and me and for Jesus if we press forward and do not let our doubts hold away. Then we, too, will" walk on the water" and not sink.
Lord, strengthen my faith that I may make you happy by trusting your power will sustain me, Amen.

President Obama Affirms Jesus as his Savior and Lord, Stands for Religious Freedom at the 62nd National Prayer Breakfast

At the 62nd annual prayer breakfast, President Barack Obama confirmed his faith in Christ and took a strong stand for religious freedom around the world, encouraging prayers for imprisoned pastors in Iran and North Korea.
The First Lady and Vice-President Biden attended the traditional gathering held at the Washington Hilton, along with foreign dignitaries such as President Martelly from Haiti and President Nishani from Albania. Rep. Janice Hahn (D-Calif.) and Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) co-chaired this year's breakfast.
Bethany Hamilton, the evangelical surfer who tragically lost an arm in a shark attack, read the story of the Good Samaritan from the Book of Luke and the well-known Scripture from Ephesians about how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.
President Obama recalled the significance of his church involvement in Chicago. "I'm grateful not only because I was broke and the church fed me, but because it led to everything else.  It led me to embrace Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.  It led me to Michelle - the love of my life - and it blessed us with two extraordinary daughters.  It led me to public service.  And the longer I serve, especially in moments of trial or doubt, the more thankful I am of God's guiding hand."

The President spoke out against the "modern slavery of human trafficking, an outrage that we must all join together to end."
He said he is especially looking forward to his return-visit to the Vatican next month to meet Pope Francis, "whose message about caring for the 'least of these' is one that I hope all of us heed."  President Obama said he was inspired by the Pope's "words and deeds, his humility, his mercy and his missionary impulse to serve the cause of social justice."
A major theme of the President's talk related to religious freedom internationally. "Around the world freedom of religion is under threat," he noted.
He said freedom of religion is central to human dignity, "the right of every person to practice their faith how they choose, to change their faith if they choose, or to practice no faith at all, and to do this free from persecution and fear.
"History shows that nations that uphold the rights of their people - including the freedom of religion - are ultimately more just and more peaceful and more successful.  Nations that do not uphold these rights sow the bitter seeds of instability and violence and extremism.  So freedom of religion matters to our national security," he said to applause.
The President said that promoting religious freedom is a key objective of U.S. foreign policy.   "I'm proud that no nation on Earth does more to stand up for the freedom of religion around the world than the United States of America."
In President Obama's previous meetings with Chinese leaders, he said he stressed upholding universal rights, including religious freedom for Christians, Tibetan Buddhists, and Uighur Muslims.  He also mentioned his concerns regarding Burma, Nigeria, South Sudan, and Coptic Christians in Egypt.
During the peace negotiations currently being conducted by Secretary Kerry between Israelis and Palestinians, Pres. Obama said "we've made clear that lasting peace will require freedom of worship and access to holy sites for all faiths."
He said his administration also opposes certain blasphemy and defamation of religion measures, "which are promoted sometimes as an expression of religion, but, in fact, all too often can be used to suppress religious minorities."
President Obama encouraged prayers for Kenneth Bae, the Christian missionary held in North Korea for 15 months, and also sentenced to 15 years of hard labor.  "The United States will continue to do everything in our power to secure his release because Kenneth Bae deserves to be free," he said.
"We pray for Pastor Saeed Abedini.  He's been held in Iran for more than 18 months, sentenced to eight years in prison on charges relating to his Christian beliefs.  And as we continue to work for his freedom, today, again, we call on the Iranian government to release Pastor Abedini so he can return to the loving arms of his wife and children in Idaho."
Keynote speaker Rajiv Shah, the USAID Administrator, shared a story of his visit to a Somali refugee camp with Jill Biden two years ago. They encountered a mother who carried each of her two children in an attempt to escape famine.
She became so weak she could only carry one child. "She looked down at her two children and she said a prayer-then she made the excruciating decision to leave one of them behind so she could save the other," he said. "Were they somehow lesser than our sons and daughters? Did their fathers love them less? Did their mothers? Did God?"

How the UK Queen makes money

Even the Queen is having trouble managing her budget in austerity Britain. Last month it was revealed that Queen Elizabeth II’s rainy day fund was down to its last million.

A report by the Public Accounts Committee revealed the Queen’s advisers were failing to control her finances while the royal palaces were “crumbling”. Both Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle are reported to be in urgent need of repair with staff routinely catching rain in buckets to protect art and antiques.

As recently as 2001 the Queen’s “reserve fund” was at a healthy £35million but now stands at a paltry £1million. MPs blamed the Royal Family’s advisers for overspending.

Don’t feel too sorry for the Monarch though. Queen Elizabeth II’s rainy day fund may be looking a bit lame but she’s worth a lot more than that – £320million according to the Sunday Times Rich List 2013.
Where does all this money come from?
Firstly, there’s property – the Queen has one of the largest property empires in the world.

The Queen’s holdings include Balmoral Castle in the Scottish Highlands, Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle and Kensington Palace. The Crown Estate, the company that owns and manages the sovereign’s land, also owns large swathes of London’s Regent Street, the Royal Parks, Ascot racecourse and 106,000 hectares of farmland. There are also stud farms, a fruit farm and marine land throughout the UK.

The Crown Estate is managed by an independent organisation on behalf of the Government. From April 2012, 15% of the profit from The Crown Estate goes to the Sovereign Grant (which partly funds the Queen), with the rest going to the Treasury.

Other royal assets include an extensive art and fine jewellery collection, and one of the world’s largest stamp collections built by the Queen’s grandfather

Although estimates of The Queen’s wealth include the royal assets, these are not her private property – she can’t sell them. Instead they are held by her as Sovereign on behalf of the nation and they will eventually be passed on to her successor.
So where does HRH’s spending money come from?
The Queen essentially receives an income in three main ways: The Sovereign Grant, the Privy Purse and The Queen’s personal wealth and income.

The Sovereign Grant came into existence in April 2012 and replaced the old way of funding the Royal family through the Civil List and various Government grants. The Sovereign Grant is equal to 15% of the profits from the Crown Estate from two years previously

The Sovereign Grant was worth £31million in the year 2012-13 but the Royal Household’s net expenditure was £33.3million, hence the Queen needing to dip into her reserve fund to make ends meet.

However, Royal finances should be back on track soon. With the Crown Estate booming (it made a profit of £ 253million last year), the Sovereign Grant is £36.1 million for the tax year 2013-14 and set to rise to £37.9 million in 2014-15.

Out of this cash, the Queen must carry out her official duties, and maintain the “occupied” Royal Palaces: Buckingham Palace, St James’s Palace, Clarence House, Marlborough House Mews, Windsor Castle, the buildings in the Home and Great Parks at Windsor, and Hampton Court Mews and Paddocks.
What’s in the Privy Purse?
The next source of income for the Queen is the Privy Purse. This is a historical term used to describe income from the Duchy of Lancaster. It’s used to meet both official and private expenditure by The Queen.

The Duchy of Lancaster is a portfolio of land, property and assets held in trust for the Sovereign. It’s administered separately from the Crown Estates and generally used to meet official expenses incurred by other members of the Royal Family. In the financial year ending 31st March 2013, it was valued at £429 million. However the Queen can’t get her hands on the capital of the portfolio, just revenue profits. This secured her an income of £12.5million in 2012-13.

The Duchy of Cornwall is yet another property portfolio held in trust, this time to meet, in part, the expenses of the monarch's eldest son and various members of his family. Prince Charles receives revenue from it to pay for his official activities, as does Camilla as Duchess of Cornwall, William and Kate (The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge) and Prince Harry.

The estate was valued at £763million last year providing Charles with private income of about £19million.

The Queen’s third source of funding is her personal income. This comes from her personal investment portfolio and private estates. The Queen personally owns the Balmoral and Sandringham Estates, which were both inherited from her father. The Queen’s private income is used to meet her “private expenses”.

So, what does the Queen spend her money on? It’s mostly official duties such as travel for official engagements in the UK and abroad; the maintenance of Royal residencies; funding for the work of The Duke of Edinburgh which supports and complements that of The Queen; and salaries for employees of the Royal Household.

Time! Time!! Time!!!

M-orning + A-fternoon + N-ight = MAN, And you wonder why God created timing first before man,
And you wonder why man has to live 120 years on earth as maximum with your clock ending at 12:00
And you wonder why Ecclesiastes 3 speaks about time
And you wonder why Your wrist does not have a wrist-watch right now
And you wonder why Africa has been left behind in terms of growth and development because we created our own time called AFRICAN-TIME which is suicidal.
Study Time Management today and see as you will have a stimulated growth in life. Time is Money as Trust is a Social-capital.
So tell friends or family, time is my life, if you waste my time you are indirectly wasting my life.

Wow: Hillsong's 'Alive' Hits #1 on Christian Billboard Charts for Third Week

This is one of my favorite song by Hillsong "Alive" from album young and free many youth loved it see the video below.

Six months ago the world had never heard of Young & Free, yet Hillsong Church's newworship sound is now on top of the world, with their first single 'Alive' hitting No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Christian AC for the third week running. (http://www.billboard.com/biz/charts/christian-chr)

While Hillsong's music is played and sung in churches globally, the new youth sound of Young & Free was a bold new direction, and a dramatic shift from what people knew and loved.

Between 'Alive' and 'Back To Life', Young & Free has been at the top of TRAA/TCM chart in Australia for 18 weeks, and the Billboard Hot AC success of "Alive" has confirmed the album's global status.

"Our first album is a message and a movement. Our songs are the expression of our love for Jesus Christ straight out of the heart of our Youth Ministry here at Hillsong Church," says youth pastor Laura Toggs.

However, she said they were genuinely humbled by the success and grateful to everyone who has supported the new team.

"We really wanted to make sure that we captured the sound of our current youth generation," Toggs says. " The best part about this, is that these songs seem to have transcended age, culture, language and even denominational boundaries. See video below:

"Our feedback about 'Alive' is that it enables people to celebrate life and freedom that can only be found through faith in Jesus Christ."
