SOME OF THE 16 THINGS A BOSS SHOULD NEVER SAY

There are some boss remarks that are so counterproductive that the best strategy is simply to bite your tongue: Here are some things a boss should never say

1. "We've always done it this way." This is not a reason for doing something. It's a reason for the boss to avoid the work of rethinking the problem or situation.

2. "Just figure it out." Employees don't ask the boss how to do something when they can figure out how to do a difficult task themselves.

3. "I don't have time for this." It can be frustrating when employees put demands on you, but a boss's primary function is to ensure employees can do their own jobs.

4. "You think that you're stressed?" Any competition to see who's more stressed is truly a waste of mental effort.

5. "Is this the best you can do?" Well, yes, it probably is the best that the employee can do.  And if it's not, do you really think that the employee  will admit that?

6. "Just do as I say." This remark may work with children, but employees need to know the "why" behind the "what" and "how."

7. "Sorry to interrupt your vacation, but..." If something goes wrong while an employee is on vacation, the boss should chalk it up to his own lousy planning.

8. "Your predecessor did a better job."  This is ultimate unhelpful remark. All it does is make the employee feel bad without any way to improve performance.

9. "You're lucky that you have a job." On hearing this, the best employees start looking for a different job and the worst ones freeze up, worrying that they'll be fired.

10. "That's a dumb idea." A remark like this, especially when delivered during a brainstorming session, ensures that employees never surface another idea.

11. "You're doing a lousy job." When employees are floundering, the boss needs to throw them a rope, not point out that they're about to drown.

12. "You look cute today." Just don't go there.  Ever.

13. "What's wrong with you?" It's insulting enough to be told that you're wrong, but it's beyond insulting to imply that the wrongness is part of who you are.

14. "Why are you so lazy?" To be useful, criticism must address the behaviors than need changing, not character or personality issues.

15. "I knew you'd fail." If the boss knew that the employee would fail, why assign that project?  To make the employee feel bad?

16. "I told you so." Even if (especially if) you warned the employee that an approach wouldn't work, gloating should be beneath you.

INSECURITY hmmm

Insecurity simply means lack of confidence or assurance. It affects both male and female and can without any doubt eat at the core of unity in the home.

What causes insecurity? Comparison: when you measure yourself with other people. When you compare your friends’ lifestyle, as well as achievements with yours in terms of career, material acquisition, educational qualification and so on you are likely to feel insecure. Every time you compare yourself with others and you fall short, you lose your sense of confidence.  Your level of education does not determine how well you can function in life, strive to be the best at what you do.

**You are unique, and original, never try to be someone else’s photocopy. Comparing yourself with others shows lack of wisdom.
Immediate gratification: the need to have material things and have them now, also make people insecure when they fall short. There is the saying that “good things come to those who wait” is true. Insecurity sets in when you want things right now and you cannot afford to have them.  A young couple who is just starting out in life may not have the kind of furniture older and more settled couples have. That does not make you any lesser than others, you are at a phase in your life and the understanding that you too will outgrow that phase should keep you confident.

**Sometimes you have to wait, mature or grow to have some things, you probably have friends whose rides are sleek and expensive but if you can not afford that at your level, it does not make you any lesser than them. Life is in phases and men are in sizes.
Identity Crisis: an identity crisis is when you do not know who you are. This is not referring to your mental status or orientation to time and place. However, this refers to knowing your strengths, weakness, personal values and goals. When a person had no mind of their own, they are easily persuaded and swayed to do things whether they believe those things or not. Insecure people find it hard to stand up to those who are confident and understand exactly what they want. If you suffer from identity crisis, it is important to discover

who you are before you get into a relationship. It is not surprise to see people feel vulnerable when seasons change in their relationship. A woman who is insecure will feel oppressed by her husband because he knows what he wants, and how to go about it.  On the other hand, an insecure man will find his wife stubborn, difficult, not submissive because she has set goals, understands her strength and is hardly out to please others.
** You need to understand who you are especially from the view point of the word of God and start forming your values from there. Our confidence is in God and when you realize that you learn to be who God has made you to be.

TIME TO CRAFT THESE BUTTERFLIES USING PLASTIC BOTTLES AND NAIL POLISH

To make these beautiful butterflies first you will require a plastic bottle. After that take some print outs of butterflies with different patterns or draw yourself if you have artistic fingers on pieces of paper.

Then cut pieces of the plastic bottle and put the pieces above the photos of butterflies. Draw the silhouettes with a black paint marker.

Then comes the color filling in the butterflies and for that you can use two to three shades of glossy nail polishes.

Cut the finished butterflies, if you want you also can add touches of glitter nail paint and diamantes. Have an enjoyable crafting!

10 TIPS TO MAINTAIN SEXUAL PURITY

We live in a sex-crazed culture where sexual temptation is everyone's battle! How can you learn to say “no” to sexual temptation?

How can you gain and maintain sexual purity? How can you teach sexual purity to your children?

The following principles go beyond describing what not to do by detailing what you can do positively. I periodically return to these principles and renew my resolutions. May I challenge you to make the following resolutions to maintain sexual purity?
1, Maintain sexual purity through the power of Jesus Christ (Eph. 5:3; Rom. 7:24–25). Exercise self-restraint by bringing my body, mind, will and emotions under complete control through Christ (Gal. 5:16).

2, Never look lustfully at a woman, entertain lustful thoughts or commit adultery (Job 31:1; Matt. 5:28; Exod. 20:14, 17; Rev. 2:22).
3, Never make sexual or seductive advances toward another woman (Prov. 6:27–29) and resist any sexual advances from another woman (Prov. 2:16, 6:24–26).

4, Never allow my mind to pursue stimulation through sensual advertising, obscene or perverse material, nudity, indecent television programs, computer images, the Internet, movies or visit a place of sexual promiscuity (Ps.101:3; Rom. 12:2).
5, Hate evil and put to death earthly desires at work in me for sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil passions and greed. Run from sexual immortality (1 Cor. 6:18; Ps. 97:10; Col. 3:5; 2 Tim. 2:22).

6, Fill my mind with things that are pure (Phil. 4:8).
7, Use my body to serve the Lord and keep my body clean and pure as a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 6:13, 19–20). Obey the desires and commands of God in all that I do (1 Pet. 1:14–16).

8, Always treat my wife with godliness and humility, honor and respect, dignity and purity
(Eph. 5:25–28) and always have my needs for sexual intimacy met by her alone (Gen. 2:24; Prov. 5:18–19; Song 1:2; 1 Cor. 7:3–5).

9, Live as a Spirit-filled Christian in expressing value and worth to all people (John 3:16; Rom. 13:9, 15:7).
10, Quickly and fully repent of any moral failure and trust the Lord for full deliverance (1 John 1:9; 2 Cor. 1:10).
