The Reason Why Time Management Is Important

Time management is the act or process of planning and exercising conscious control over the amount of time spent on specific activities, especially to increase effectiveness, efficiency or productivity.
We've all heard the saying "time is money", and that phrase is essentially true. Unfortunately, time doesn't always equal money though.
Time is continually passing but that doesn't mean you are continually making money, this depends on how you manage your time and what you do with it.
Here are 9 reasons time management is important.
9 Reasons Why Time Management is Important
1. Time is limited
Everyone gets the same amount of time each day, and it's limited, therefore it's important to make the most of your time if you ever want to be more than average at the workplace.
2. Accomplish more with less effort
By taking control of your time, you're able to stay focused on the task at hand. This leads to higher efficiency since you never lose momentum.
3. Make better decisions
There are many choices in life and often-times we're faced with many choices to choose from at the same time. When you practice good time management, you have more time to breathe; this allows you to determine which choices are the best to make.
When you feel pressed for time and have to make a decision, you're more likely to jump to conclusions and not fully consider the different options; this leads to poor decision making.
4. Be more successful
Time management is the key to success; it allows you to take control of your life rather than follow the flow of others. You accomplish more, you make better decisions, and you work more efficiently; this leads to a more successful life.
5. Learn more
When you control your time and work more efficiently, you're able to learn more and increase your experience faster.
6. Reduce stress
One of the main causes of stress is due to people feeling rushed. The phrase "I have so much to do and so little time to do it" is generally spoken with frustration which leads to stress.
With good time management, you know how much time you have, how long it will take to get your tasks done, you accomplish more, and have more free time. This gives you more breathing room, which reduces the feeling of being rushed, which in turn leads to less frustration and stress.
6. Higher quality work
We all need some free time to relax and unwind but, unfortunately, many of us don't get much free time because we're too busy trying to keep up with our daily activities and work load.
By implementing time management skills, you are able to get more done in a shorter period of time leading to more free time.
7. Creates discipline
When you practice good time management in your life, you are less likely to procrastinate. Time management leads to higher productivity and leads to a disciplined life.
Creating a Positive Cycle with Time Management
Not only are there an abundance of reasons as to why time management is important, but there is a multiplicative benefit of time management.
Implementing good time management allows you to accomplish more in a shorter period of time, which leads to more free time, which leads to lower stress, which increases your attention span and increases your work quality, which leads to more success.
Each benefit of time management improves another aspect of your life and it keeps going in a constant cycle.
So why is time management important? Well because, it makes you happier, more successful, live a fuller life, and live stress-free.

The Bodies of Dr Myles Munroe, Wife and Crash Victims Returned Home

myles munroe ruthThe bodies of renowned evangelical pastor and motivational speaker, Myles Munroe, his wife, Ruth, and three of seven other persons who died with them in a fiery jet crash in Freeport, Bahamas, two Sundays ago were returned home to family and friends in the island’s capital of New Providence Monday in preparation for multiple memorials in upcoming weeks.
Since his untimely death on Sunday, Nov. 9, the life of Munroe, a globally recognized Christian leader, has beencelebrated in memorial services across the world.
The biggest memorial, however, will take place in the place where Munroe’s life began — the Bahamas.
The life of Munroe and his wife are scheduled to be celebrated at a national memorial planned for Wednesday, Dec. 3 at the 15,000-seat Thomas Robinson Stadium in the Bahamas. Munroe’s Bahamas Faith Ministries will then hold an official funeral service for the couple a day later on Thursday, Dec. 4 at the church’s International Diplomat Center on Carmichael Road in Nassau, Bahamas.
Getting their bodies back from Freeport where they perished, was the first step in getting the memorial started, explained Bahamas Faith Ministries spokesman Kevin Harris in an interview with The Christian Post Wednesday.

The bodies of senior vice president and fellowship pastor of Bahamas Faith Ministries Richard Pinder, and pilots Captain Stanley Thurston and First Officer Frahkan Cooper were also returned Monday, according to a press statement issued by the church.
“The families were present, we had a service, a small service under the airport hangar. There was no viewing of the bodies, they came draped in the Bahamian flag colors … they were loaded into hearses and transported to funeral homes,” said Harris of the reception.
A photo from the reception of the bodies shows three hearses caught in procession as supporters raised Bahamian flags and gawked with somber expressions.
Harris explained that a team from the church and other national officials will be meeting late Wednesday night to determine how long the national memorial for Munroe and his wife will last and what format it will take.
As for how Munroe’s children are doing in the aftermath of the tragedy, Harris said: “I can say from having to be with them, they are very strong. Of course it’s a difficult period for them having lost both parents. Their faith is unmoved. … [They are trusting] “God will reveal himself.”

Prayer for new week

You have the life of God in you, therefore you will live above sickness and disease. Your body will receive strength and your health will be restored. You will live to finish your assignment in Jesus name.

It’s your week of Supernatural Breakthrough!! Whatever has held you back has no choice but to let go. You shall be a victor not a victim In Jesus Name! If God has spoken who can speak it!

Happy New Week from us ASB-World.

WHAT DO WE DO WITH THE DASH?

By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples. John 15:8
What are you supposed to do with your life? According to scripture, we are all placed here on this earth to glorify and honour God and produce spiritual fruit in our lives.
In fact, one of the songs we will sing in heaven is this one: "You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created." (Revelation 4:11).
We exist for the pleasure of God. We were created to bring glory to Him and to produce spiritual fruit.
Jesus said, "You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain" (John 15:16).
He also said, "By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples" (verse 8).
We don't determine how long we will live on this earth. We may try. We can hang out at health food stores and take all kinds of vitamins and do all the right things, and we may even improve the quality of our lives by doing these things, but it is God who determines the length of our lives.
It is God who decided when we were to be born. And it is God who decides when we will die. We have nothing to say about those dates.
But we have everything to say about the dash in between them. So what do we do with the dash? How do we live out the dash?
We are here to glorify God. We don't all have the same talents, but we have all been given our lives.
So let's not waste them in the pursuit of nothingness. Let's invest our lives in the pursuit of God.
Prayer: Lord, let my life bring glory to You.

Would You Do This For Fashion? Hmmmm

I’m sure most women are familiar with the feeling of seeing the shoe of their dreams in a shop. Just when they squeeze their feet in to fit, they discover the shoe is just too tight…in fact two sizes small. When they ask the shop attendant for the same shoe in their actual size, they get this reply:
“It’s the only size left.”

They’ll then wish their feet were small enough to fit in. Well, plastic surgeons have capitalized on the longings of these women and invented a foot plastic surgery which they’ve called the ‘Cinderella.’ Foot altering surgeries has been going on for years now, but The New York Times reported last week that they’ve suddenly become more popular than ever.
They procedures range from strategic Botox injections on the balls of your feet, to the Perfect 10 (toe shortening) to the Model T (toe lengthening) to the Cinderella, where your entire foot is altered to fit your favourite shoe size.
Beverly Hills doctor, Dr. Ali Sadrieh, says these elective, cosmetic foot surgeries are so popular that he coined cute little names for them all, so patients can conveniently order them like they’re choosing lip gloss shades at a cosmetic shop.
Another doctor; the founder of NYC Footcare, Dr. Oliver Zong, who is a self-proclaimed “originator of the foot face-lift and toe tuck,” routinely corrects such conditions as High Heel Foot (a term he coined to describe a deformed foot that’s conformed to the shape of a stiletto), and Hitchhiker’s Toe, (an abnormally large big toe that sticks out like the thumb of a hitch hiker). He recently introduced the phrase “Toebesity,” which he plans to describe on his site, where flashing text promises: “Designer feet for designer shoes.”
Do you think these feet-altering procedures are crazy? Would you undergo any?

RESIST THE FLESH

Among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others. Ephesians 2:1
The Holy Spirit guides believers to make wise and righteous decisions. But when Christians fail to listen, they can make choices that appeal to the flesh instead.
After the serpent spoke to Eve, she no doubt took a long look at the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Gen. 2:17; 3:3).
Whatever she might have thought about the tree before, she now saw it with new eyes—flesh-focused eyes.
Genesis 3 tells us that the forbidden tree appealed to Eve in three ways:
1. It was good for food
2. It was a delight to the eyes, and
3. It was desirable to make one wise.
In other words, the tree could fulfill three legitimate human appetites: the desire for tasty meals, beauty, and wisdom.
There is nothing wrong with these God-given yearnings. The Lord created a variety of food and an earth packed with breathtaking sights so that people could enjoy them.
He also offers the Holy Spirit as a source of His true wisdom and knowledge. In fact, it is the Spirit who teaches believers to keep fleshly appetites under control and in balance.
Meanwhile, Satan works very hard at corrupting healthy desires. He abhors seeing people's appetites satisfied.
What he wants is to watch a person lusting after a good thing until he or she is controlled by the impulse to have it.
The Devil is pleased when people make themselves slaves to a desire that—in the proper context—the Lord intended to be enjoyed freely.
A believer walking in the Holy Spirit rejects gluttony, preferring desires that are within God's boundaries instead. That's how we get His very best.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for victory over Satan, the world, and my flesh.
